Concert Summary

This recording was made right after the release of Accept's fifth album, Balls to the Wall - seven years after vocalist Udo Dirkschneider formed his powerful German metal band in Cologne. Though the group had become a festival/arena headlining act in Europe, they were virtually unknown in the U.S., and this was their first American tour. Balls to the Wall was also their debut album in America, and was backed heavily by the SONY-owned imprint, Portrait Records.

    They along with Y&T absolutely blew motley crue off the stage at the manning bowl in llynn ma summer of 85 when the drugged out motley bunch was flailing through the theatre of pain tour.95 degrees all leather with hard hitting set list from the metal heart album.Bone crunching heavy metal at its finest.While im a huge fan of the new singers work with TT Quick,it aint the same w/o UDO

    Ya drgnmstr...I still got all my stubs from the California theater daze..."Accept" included. That place rocked in the 80's.

    they were on tour headlining st. pete fl with helix and mcqueen st and it was all guitars and even caught udo headband good times

    I saw Accept and Rough Cutt at the California Theatre (San Diego). It was Metal Heart tour and it was great. The lead singer for RC fell off the stage in a drunken fumble. Classic!
