Concert Summary

This recording, made for the King Biscuit Flower Hour in 1975, features the original members of 10cc while they were enjoying the success of their chart-topping hit, "I'm Not In Love." The humor-driven pop band, whose name is actually the metric total of semen the average male ejaculates during sex, became a top act in Europe and the U.K. but was mostly a cult sensation stateside. Consisting of an all-star cast of Manchester musicians, 10cc was one of the few bands where every member wrote and sang lead throughout entire albums. 1occ were brilliant at recreating complex studio tracks on stage even if they had to use tapes to fill out the sound there were only 4 of them performing songs with multi-instrumentation shame the 4 of them are no longer together today

After listen to the post godley and creme sets, this concert was alive. It seemed the other concerts were boring to listen to. What a great band. Still have my "Original Soundtrack" cassette that still plays. Great to hear this music live. Great sound. Was the concert as fun as it seems? It comes across amazing. The big question is what the hell happened? Oh well, at least we have this to listen to.

I saw them on the Isle of Man in 1974. Anybody else there?

I was at this show and was blown away by their musician ship they are all great players. I was kinda pissed about the reel to reel on the stage at the time (I'm not in love) but I get it now. Oh those were the days.

This is pop-rock at its very best. Great music.

That introduction is hysterical. I saw them on the Bloody Tourists tour in Cleveland. Missed Lol and Kev, but still great.

Saw them twice on the same UK tour during 75 - second time around - same jokes but still as tight. Rubber Bullets shows just what a good little rock band they were.

    They made the 70s livable

They were fantastic live, I saw them in concert twice in the Netherlands, first in Congress Gebouw in The Hague and a few months later again in Delft (outdoors in a park). Must have been '76. The sound was good, they had this huge Technics reel to reel recorder behind them on stage, that showed a "tape" running whenever they used some pre-recorded sounds to augment the songs such as in (not my favorite) "I'm not in love" or "Flying Junk", even the VU meters worked.

I seen them on the tour in London. They played this set and I am feeling very emotional listening to it again. I cannot find the words to thank you for this! Theresa
